HUNTER’S BODY FOUND IN SEQUATCHIE COUNTY

Authorities in Sequatchie County say that a man died while hunting over the weekend. Sheriff Ronnie Hitchcock says that 44-year-old Steve Wilson of Cleveland failed to respond to texts or calls from his family. When deputies went to look for him, they found his unconscious body at the bottom of a tree stand on Lewis Chapel Mountain. At this point it’s not been determined what Wilson died from, although he had fallen several feet from where the tree stand had been mounted. An autopsy is being conducted.
