High winds have caused several problems across the region today, but Crossville is seeing a “big” problem. City Fire Dept. crews and Emergency Personnel were called to the intersection of Genesis Rd. and Interstate Drive where the huge Speedway road sign was in danger of being blown completely down. The intersection was immediately closed down and traffic rerouted around the dangerous area. At this time, authorities report that the intersection and immediate roadway will be closed to through traffic until further notice. You are advised to please seek an alternate route.
