A sex offender in Anderson County is facing charges after reportedly moving into a residence within 1,000 feet of a school or daycare. Authorities took 30-year-old William Edward Pinner into custody for violation of the sex-offender registry. Pinner was placed on the sex offender registry after a conviction three years ago for attempted aggravated sexual battery against a juvenile.
