A woman was hospitalized following a recent shooting in Monroe County, reportedly over stolen medication. The victim said 50-year-old Margaret Juanita Corbin pointed a firearm at her when she was backing down a driveway off of Old Sweetwater Road. One of the bullets discharged struck the victim in the chest. Corbin was arrested for aggravated assault.
