A CHATTANOOGA SHOOTING LEAVES 3 DEAD AND 14 INJURED

On June 5th, another shooting happened in Chattanooga, TN. This happened just one week after a 15-year-old shot 6 juveniles.

Early Sunday morning around 2 AM,  14 people were shot and three other people were struck by vehicles trying to leave the scene. Two people died from gunshot wounds and a third person died from injuries sustained when they were struck by a car fleeing the scene. Sixteen of the victims were adults and one was a juvenile and several remain in critical condition. This incident happened near Mary’s Bar and Grill on McCallie Avenue.

Police suspect more than one gunman was involved in the incident. So far, no arrests have been made. According to Chattanooga Police Chief Celeste Murphy, “This is once again a situation in which we find that we need help from the community to help us out with this because we cannot do this by ourselves.”
