Knoxville, TN- On Friday, June 3 around 12:50 pm Knoxville Police Department officers responded to the Holston Oaks Apartments in the 1800 block of Riverside Drive, where a man was found next to a car suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the UT Medical Center for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

The victim was refusing to cooperate with officers and is not pressing charges at this time. Officers think he was possibly shot by a relative at an undetermined location.

No suspects are in custody and the investigation is ongoing at this time.
