A LITTLE PRECIP SATURDAY NIGHT

Temperatures will be in the 40s on Saturday but drop into the low to mid thirties Saturday night with a chance of rain showers and snow showers. At this time the Weather Service thinks it will stay just above freezing in our area but it is going to be so close that I would advise you to be careful if you’re traveling Saturday night or Sunday morning because there could be a few slick spots on the Northern plateau. A big warming trend is coming next week with highs in the 50s and 60s and lots of sunshine and dry weather, sounds wonderful doesn’t it?

The most rain reported this past week was 8 inches down in Dunlap, 7 and 1/2 inches in Petros, 7 inches Fairfield Glade and anywhere from 5 to 6.75 over the remainder of the plateau and East Tennessee.
