ABDUCTOR OF MONROE COUNTY TEEN INDICTED BY GRAND JURY

The sordid details behind the kidnapping and rescue of a Monroe County teen continue to be revealed. 31-year-old Bryan D. Rogers was indicted last week by a grand jury for production of child pornography and making a false statement. The FBI reports that Bryan had been talking online with the 14-year-old from Madisonville for several weeks when she told him that her adopted father had been sexually abusing her for years and begged him for help. Rogers told the girl to take video of the man raping her to prove to law enforcement. After Rogers received the video, he drove to Tennessee, picked up the girl and transported her to Wisconsin. She was missing for over two weeks. Although Rogers stated that it was only his intention to help the girl, neither police or the grand jury believed him. The teen’s adoptive father, Randall Lee Pruitt has been arrested and charged with rape.
