ACT OF HEROISM POTENTIALLY SAVED TWO LIVES IN ROANE COUNTY

An act of heroism yesterday potentially saved the lives of two following a vehicle accident in Roane County. Law enforcement and medical first responders went to the scene around the 344 mile marker westbound on I-40 where a car lost control and flipped over on its top. Flames started to come from the engine area and that is when another motorists, Dakota Greiner, stopped to help. Greiner grabbed a fire extinguisher, put out the fire and helped pull one person from the wreckage. An accident report will be released at a later time. The conditions of the two in the vehicle involved in the crash is not known.
