James Dakota Adams, age 31, of Crossville, was taken into custody last Friday after allegedly taking a 2004 Jeep Liberty from a home on Kerrigan Road without permission. The owner of the vehicle also reported a cell phone taken. A deputy later observed the automobile heading outbound on Genesis Road and pulled over Adams on Hyder Loop. He was arrested for motor vehicle theft and driving on a suspended license.
