ALERT ISSUED FOR INMATE WHO STOLE VEHICLE IN JEFFERSON COUNTY

The Jefferson County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office request the public’s assistance with locating an inmate who stole a vehicle from the Jefferson County Schools Bus Garage shortly after 11 a.m. this morning. The vehicle was last seen traveling west on 25/70 near Deep Springs Road.

The inmate, 35-year-old Jason Dwight Carr, is a Caucasian male stands 5’11, weighs 190 pounds, has brown eyes and hair. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and green stripped pants. Carr was being held on a theft and probation violation. He is driving a 1999 Chevrolet Impala with Jefferson County Schools emblems on the side with a tag # GV8606.
