On Thursday, November 7, 2024, ALEX W. MOORE, entered a plea of GUILTY to two counts of Continuous Sexual Abuse of children in the Criminal Court of Putnam County, TN. The investigation into Moore’s behavior revealed that he engaged in multiple incidents of rape of a child against two children in Putnam County. He was sentenced to serve a Twenty (20) year sentence at 100%. Moore will be listed on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry for life. The case was investigated by Det. Brian Haworth with the Putnam County TN Sheriff’s Office – Eddie Farris, Sheriff, assisted by Investigator Randal Slayton with the District Attorney’s Office, the Department of Children’s Services and the Upper Cumberland Child Advocacy Center.
