The Algood Police Dept. is still looking for a few good men. Interim Police Chief Bryant Swallows says that three positions need to be filled. Chief Swallows says that even missing three officers puts a strain on things in the department. The application period will remain open until Friday, Oct. 20. In the meantime, applications are still being taken for the job of police chief until Monday, Oct. 16. Swallows himself has applied for the position.
