ALLEGED MISSING CUMBERLAND CO WOMAN WALKS INTO HER HOUSE AFTER MULTIPLE AGENCIES SEARCH FOR HER

Cumberland County Rescue was requested Sunday, September 4th at approximately 1400 hrs to the Hebbertsburg area for a missing female.

Crews responded from the Cumberland County Rescue Squad with 13 members and ATVs. Cumberland County EMA came with both director and assistant director, White County/ Sparta rescue squad with 6 members and ATVs, Morgan County rescue squad with 2 personnel, 2 personnel from National Park Rangers, Morgan County EMA director, 6 members from the Christian Aid Ministries with a drone, Cookeville police department with a drone, Cumberland County fire dept with a drone, Cumberland County Sheriffs office, personnel responded to the area and set up a staging area at the Hebbertsburg Fire Hall.

Crews started dispatching and searching the areas via land and air. As nightfall came in and the weather approached it was decided to cease operations and continue in the morning. Crews from the Cumberland County Rescue Squad, Cumberland County EMA, & Cumberland County Sheriffs’ office resumed searching Monday morning by the water. After searching the water for a couple of hours, the Cumberland County Rescue Squad was notified that the individual had returned to the residence unharmed. Multiple volunteer man-hours from all agencies were utilized for this operation. Thank you to all agencies for the assistance that was provided.
