ALLEGED SERIAL SHOPLIFTER STEALS TOOLS AND RADIO FROM LOWE’S

According to a report by the Crossville Police Department, on September 29, 2025, at around 5:25 PM, Sergeant Samantha Seay responded to a theft report at Lowe’s, where she met with an asset protection officer. The officer provided video footage from September 28, 2025, showing a male entering the store, selecting a Craftsman tool set from the tool department, a DeWalt Bluetooth radio and work light from aisle 67, and a Red Bull from the front of the store.
The individual paid only for the Red Bull before exiting with all items, resulting in a $677.00 loss for Lowe’s.
McGeary suspects the individual is Alex Christian Rich, who is linked to multiple open theft investigations at Lowe’s locations in Knox County, Shelby County, and Maryland. Although Sergeant Seay located a driver’s license for Rich, she could not positively identify him and has not issued a warrant.
