ALMOST $4,000 WORTH OF BASEBALL CARDS STOLEN FROM CUMBERLAND COUNTY HOME

On Monday, Deputy Tyler Leary with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the area of Drowning Creek for an Aggravated Burglary that had happened on Friday last week.
Deputy Leary spoke with a homeowner who claimed someone had got into his residence and stolen a Predator 5000 generator valued at $800, a Dewalt power drill set valued at $250 that belonged to the homeowner’s uncle, an 82-inch LG television, and a safe full of 15,000 baseball cards valued at $150 for the safe and $3,750 for the cards.
The homeowner said he observed a black SUV with a small U-Haul trailer leaving his home
The homeowner is unaware if anything else has been taken at this time, and was unable to provide any serial
numbers for the stolen items, with a total cost of approximately $5,800.
