AMBER ALERT ENDS AFTER CHILD FOUND SAFE
An Amber Alert out of Scott County, Kentucky has been canceled after a four-year old boy was found safe, according to authorities. Georgetown Police say they went to a home on Mcintosh Park around 6:30 p.m. Friday (August 18, 2017) for a report of a break-in. Investigators say when they arrived, they discovered 25-year old Kayla Melton had broken-in to the home through a back window, assaulted a woman who was watching her biological child and abducted the boy. Police says Melton lost custodial rights to Tayden Bradley Kanatzer last month. Investigators say Kanatzer was found safe by police in Oldham County just after midnight this morning (Saturday, August 19, 2017).
