ANITA HALE ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION FROM CUMBERLAND SCHOOL BOARD
At last week’s Cumberland County Board of Education meeting, it was announced that Anita Hale is resigning from her position as the fourth district representative.
In her resignation statement, Hale explained that recent medical developments require her full attention, leading her to conclude that stepping down would be in the best interest of the district and her constituents.
She expressed sincere appreciation for the support she has received during her six years of service on the board. Her resignation will take effect on May 1, 2026.
