The man accused of opening fire at an Antioch church, killing one woman, is expected to appear in court Monday. A preliminary hearing is scheduled Monday morning for Emanuel Samson. This would be his first physical appearance before a judge in a courtroom. Tuesday marks one month since Samson allegedly opened fire on a church congregation at Burnette Chapel Church of Christ. Metro Nashville Police said he shot and killed Melanie Crow in the parking lot before going inside and shooting six others, including the pastor. He also allegedly pistol-whipped the usher who tried to take him down. The motive for the shooting remained unknown.
