APPEAL DENIED FOR ROANE COUNTY MAN CONVICTED OF HITTING POLICE OFFICER WITH VEHICLE
The Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals did not grant an appeal of a Roane County man sentenced for crimes committed. Court officials say Henry Nicholas Brown will serve a 12 year sentence given to him by Judge Jeff Wicks. Brown was convicted of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment late last year. The charges stem from an incident where Brown hit Sgt. Jerry Singleton of the Kingston Police Department with a vehicle after a traffic stop on Highway 58 on August 6, 2017. Brown was later arrested at a home on Evans Road.
