ARCTIC COLD TUESDAY
Weather some pretty crazy facts about this winter storm that I wanted to mention. About as strong a difference in temperatures as you will ever see with a cold front. At 6 p.m. this evening it was 42 in Crossville it was in the twenties in Cookeville with icing and it was only 15 degrees just west of Nashville. As we had our plain rain this afternoon in parts of Cumberland County, there was quite a bit of icing going on in Putnam, Overton and Fentress Counties with some power outages. Temperatures will only be in the twenties for the high on Tuesday and then drop into the teens Tuesday night. Wednesday night and Thursday night could bring another round of mixed precipitation or snow and I will have more on that for you tomorrow. A warming trend is coming for the weekend with highs in the 40s and 50s next week.
