ROAD CONDITION REPORT – TUESDAY, FEB. 16, 2021 AT 5:40 A.M.

INTERSTATE 40 – CUMBERLAND COUNTY

  • Crab Orchard (Exit 329) to Ozone area – slick spots
  • Peavine Road (Exit 322) to 325 mile marker – slick spots
  • At and near Cumberland/Putnam County (near mile marker 310) line – slick spots

INTERSTATE 40 – PUTNAM COUNTY

  • Going down plateau past Monterey heading west – slick areas

INTERSTATE 40

  • From Gordonsville west to Nashville, then from Nashville and points north, south and west are very slick in numerous spots

LANTANA ROAD – CUMBERLAND COUNTY

  • From Shadberry Road to Vandever Road – slick spots

ALL backroads and secondary roads are slick in several places. Main highways have been treated but are icy in areas.

If you have to travel this morning, use EXTREME caution, slow down and allow for extra time in arriving to your destination. Little if any melting will take place today as the high temperature will only get into the mid 20’s on the plateau and low tonight back in the mid to upper teens.
