Monticello, Kentucky police Department responded to the hospital emergency room Monday after a man arrived with a stab wound. Law enforcement says an altercation took place outside of a home on Parmley Street, resulting in 44-year-old Ricky Daniels, being stabbed in his side. He was flown by an air medical helicopter to U.K. Medical Center in Lexington for treatment. Officers arrested 49-year-old Juan Flores Santiago yesterday for first-degree assault in connection to the incident. Santiago was taken to the Wayne County Detention Center.
