TENNESSEE TO GET $458 MILLION IN FEDERAL AID FOR RESIDENTIAL HOUSING RENT RELIEF
The Tennessee Housing Development Agency says the state will get $458 million in federal COVID-19 funds for residential rent relief. The agency is setting up a web portal, call center and preparing their staff to process thousands of payments to landlords and utility providers. It will take at least eight weeks to be able to send out the money. Additional federal guidance is expected later this month.
