The Roane County Sheriff’s Department processed two individuals into the jail Thursday night for the death of 37-year-old Aaron Reed Brown of Cumberland County. Casey Lee Ridenour, age 21, and 33-year-old Samuel Lee Cook both face second degree murder and abuse of a corpse. Ridenour is scheduled to make his first court appearance this Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Just over a half million dollar bond was initially set for both suspects. Brown’s body was pulled from the Emory River near Harriman last Wednesday.
