AT LEAST 9 DEAD IN MASS SHOOTING IN DAYTON, OHIO
Less than 24 hours after 20 people were shot down in El Paso, Texas, at least 9 are dead and over 20 wounded from another mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio. Authorities were alerted to the incident around 1 AM in the Oregon District of downtown Dayton. Police were on the scene immediately and according to reports, the suspected shooter was taken down in less than one minute. The suspect, who has yet to be named, used a .223 caliber gun with a high-capacity magazine. He was also wearing body armor.Investigators are working to identify the shooter and try to piece together a motive for the brutal killings. Saturday, 20 people died in another mass shooting incident taking place at a heavily traveled shopping area in El Paso, Texas. These incidents mark the 21st and 22nd mass shooting killing cases since the beginning of 2019 in the United States. In all, 125 have died in such instances.
