AVIATION COMPANY LOOKING TO ESTABLISH BUSINESS SITE ON PLATEAU
In a work session late yesterday, the Crossville City Council talked about an aviation and aerospace technology company, Whisper Aero, possibly coming in. City Manager Greg Wood said the prospective business would need high speed Internet in the area they are interested in that is currently not serviced. Wood stated Ben Lomand Connect has agreed to cover 60 percent of the cost to provide it while the city cost is $27,500. Wood said there is enough money in from the Hotel/Motel tax to cover it. The council will vote on the issue in their regular meeting Tuesday night (February 9, 2021).
Whisper Aero provides propelling electric technologies. It develops fans and other related products.
