The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department says a Pickett County suspect was charged with attempted second-degree murder following a shooting at a home on the 6,000 block of Ball Hill Road. Law enforcement arrived to find the victim, Terrance Denver Mandondo of Nashville, shot several times. He was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center where Mandondo was last listed in critical condition. Jared Lee Bandy, age 38, of Byrdstown, was arrested at the scene, taken to jail and initially placed under a bond of $250,000. Investigators believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute. No other information was immediately released.
