A Cumberland County man was sentenced in criminal court Wednesday for child abuse. Court documents show 27-year-old Brandon Luke Baron was indicted by a grand jury in early 2017 for an incident involving a child who was 8 years old or less back in August 2016. In court Wednesday, Baron entered a guilty plea to the charge and was given two years to serve in prison by Judge Wesley Bray.
