Barry Thomas Stricklan, age 74, passed away May 12, 2021 at his home. He was a resident of Rockwood. Barry served in the National Guard for 8 ½ years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas and Willie Rose Stricklan; brother: William Anthony “Tony” Stricklan, and nephew: William Anthony “Tony Jr.” Stricklan. He is survived by his daughters: Catherine Victoria “Tori” Stricklan of Oak Ridge and Patricia Alexandria “Allie” (Kyle) Lee of Knoxville; son: Thomas Scott (Kim) Stricklan of Rockwood; stepson: Charles Ryan (Misty) Hay of Oak Ridge; stepdaughter: Alice McKenzie (Joe) Fleming of Kingsport; grandsons: Cameron Markei Stricklan of Oak Ridge, Jordan Reece Stricklan of Oak Ridge, and Thomas Hunter Stricklan of Rockwood; granddaughter: Veronica “Roni” Kate Lee of Knoxville; brother: Mike Stricklan of Seminole, Florida; and special friends: Bennie (Shirley) Parks of Wartburg and Tom “Shank” Scarboro of Rockwood. Graveside and interment service will be Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 2 p.m. eastern in the Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood with military honors conducted by the Roane County Military Memorial Honor Guard. Evans Mortuary in Rockwood is serving the family.
