Aaron Harvey, the longtime high school football play-by-play announcer for BBB Communications, passed away Sunday morning from injuries sustained in a car crash on Friday.

Harvey was involved in the accident while traveling to cover a local game. Remembered by colleagues for his passion for broadcasting, warm friendship, and impact on the community, Harvey had been a fixture of BBB Communications’ sports coverage.

“His voice, friendship, and presence will be deeply missed by our entire crew and by the many people whose lives he touched,” BBB Communications shared in a statement.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Kelli, and his two children, Ezra and Ava. The family and network ask for thoughts and prayers during this time.
