The Tennessee Department of Education today released their semi-finalists by region for state Principal of the Year. In the east, they include Kent Millsaps at Roane County High School, Ashley Baessler at Eaton Elementary in Loudon County and RaeAnn Owens at Clinton Middle College and Career Academy in Anderson County. In the Upper Cumberland region, Debbie Beaty at Crab Orchard Elementary School is under consideration. Winners of each section will be announced at a later date.
