BENEFIT FOR GEORGE KIRKLAND PLANNED
George Kirkland is a 25-year-old man who has endured more in his life than most of us will in a lifetime. George was born with Spina Bifida. Through his journey, George has had countless surgeries. In 2012, he had one leg amputated and the other was amputated this year. Also this year, George received news that he would need permanent dialysis because of kidney failure. His family is in the process of getting George on the transplant list. His family needs help with medical expenses and home renovations to George will be able to have his dialysis at home.
A yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the TAD Center in Crossville to help raise money for George. A plate lunch will start at 11 a.m. costing $5. All donations are greatly appreciated for the yard sale or food for the plate lunch.
