BLACKMON CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT IN CROSSVILLE

Crossville police responded to Sonic yesterday on North Main Street for an intoxicated driver. The arrest report states 38-year-old Jerry Daniel Blackmon of Crossville drove a Dodge Ram into a ditch with two 8-year-old girls on board and the tires were slinging mud onto the menu boards and customers. This was after Blackmon allegedly hit a pole at Sonic then drove over a drainage ditch to get into the parking lot of another business. Police say Blackmon was administered a portable breath test and failed. He was arrested for DUI and two counts of reckless endangerment.
