BLEDSOE TELEPHONE COOPERATIVE REPORTS SECOND INSTANCE OF INTENTIONALLY CUT LINES IN THREE DAYS

Residents in the Daus Mountain service area faced a telecommunications outage yesterday after communication lines were deliberately severed, according to an alert issued by the Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative.

This incident marks the second time in just three days that utility lines have been intentionally cut in the region. Repair crews deployed in the field worked diligently to restore service to affected customers as quickly as possible.

Authorities and utility officials are treating the incidents as vandalism and are asking for the public’s assistance. Anyone who noticed suspicious activity or has information regarding those responsible is urged to contact the Bledsoe Telephone Cooperative or local law enforcement immediately.
