BLOUNT COUNTY DEPUTY CATCHES BURGLARY SUSPECT “IN-THE-ACT”

A Blount County Deputy was able to apprehend a suspect in an act of committing a burglary. The officer was called to a Joseph Street home in Seymour Tuesday for the report of a woman acting in a suspicious manner. According to the report, when the deputy arrived, he found 23-year-old Angel N. Glenn standing in front of a garage with a wagon full of assorted items. She reportedly told the officer that she thought the resident was holding a foreclosure sale and that it was alright for her to take the items. The homeowner told the officer that she told the woman no such thing and did not give Glenn permission to come into the home. Glenn is charged with aggravated burglary.
