The Oak Ridge Police Department is leading the investigation into the recent discovery of a woman’s body in Roane County. The female, identified as 35-year-old Britanie Davis of the Wetsel area of Rockwood was found inside a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 70 and Gallaher Road. An autopsy has been ordered to determine an exact cause of death. Authorities say early indications point to her having died somewhere else and her body brought to the location where it was found.
