BODY FOUND IN MISSISSIPPI, CONFIRMED TO BE EAST RIDGE DOUBLE-MURDER SUSPECT CASEY LAWHORN
Jasper County Sheriff Randy Johnson says a body has been found in the Vossburg, Mississippi, area. Sheriff Johnson has confirmed the body is that of East Ridge double-murder suspect Casey Lawhorn.
Lawhorn’s body was discovered hours after police discovered the abandoned gold Ford Taurus he’d been driving on I-59 near the Vossburg exit.
In a Facebook post, the sheriff also said Lawhorn’s death appears to be from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
