BODY OF VICTOR LETNER DISCOVERED; ARRESTS MADE

The body of a missing Roane Countian has been found in East Knox County.

Law enforcement located 33-year-old Victor Letner off of Kodak Road. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Letner was last seen February 7, 2021 in Rockwood.

Investigators say Letner drove to Knoxville to meet 24-year-old Kendra Ivey. The two then drove to Kodak Road where they were met by Ivey’s boyfriend, 23-year-old Charlie Richard “Rico” Martinez. Detective say Martinez allegedly robbed and shot Letner.

Ivey has been arrested for felony murder and is being held on $1 million bond.

Law enforcement also took 46-year-old Diana Jeanty into custody for being an accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence. Officers stated Jeanty, Martinez’s mother, drove Letner’s vehicle to Virginia where she left it.

Martinez is presently on the run wanted for violation of probation. He is also being sought for questioning in relation to the death of Letner.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
