Crossville police responded early Saturday morning before sunrise to Weigel’s on West Avenue after one of the front glass doors was shattered. The report indicates a male subject walked up to the door and shook the handle. The door was locked as the store was closed at the time of the incident. Police say 49-year-old David Alex Bramblett of Crossville grabbed an object and struck the door causing the glass to break. Damage to the door was set at $450. Bramblett fled the scene and was arrested a short time later near the Speedway store on West Avenue.
