BRAWL BREAKS OUT AT DOWNTOWN HARRIMAN ESTABLISHMENT
A large brawl broke out this past Friday evening around 11:00 p.m. at a social establishment in downtown Harriman on Roane Street at Morgan Avenue.
The incident, which gained significant attention on social media over the weekend, involved several individuals and required a response from multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Harriman Police Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), and the Roane County Sheriff’s Office, to bring the situation under control. Multiple police vehicles were on scene, and an ambulance was dispatched to evaluate one person who reportedly had been struck in the face with a pool stick.
According to Harriman City Manager Scott Mason, no press release has been issued at this time. He confirmed that the District Attorney General’s office is assisting the Harriman Police Department with the investigation, including a review of video surveillance footage to determine fault. Charges could be filed in the coming days.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. Fortunately, no one sustained serious injuries during the fight.
