BREAKING NEWS – Dawn Beers, who was reported missing from a home on Dripping Springs Road in Cumberland County this morning, has been found safe.

Sheriff Casey Cox told 105.7 News this evening she walked out of a wooded area north of her residence just before nightfall with her two dogs.

“I’m glad she was found safe before the temperature dropped tonight. She is being taken to Cumberland Medical Center just to be checked out. I’d like to thank all of the search and rescue personnel for their hard work and throughout the day searching for her,” said Sheriff Cox.

No further information was initially released.
