BREAKING NEWS – At least four injuries and possibly up to seven, two involving children, are reported in a vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County. The crash scene is at the 330 westbound mile marker (just east of Crab Orchard).

As of 12:55 p.m. central (Friday, August 14, 2020), westbound traffic is closed. Motorists will have to detour at the Westel Exit (Exit 338), turn left and proceed to Highway 70. Turn right and go to Crab Orchard and continue on I-40 from there.

The scene is estimated to be cleared by 4:45 p.m. central.
