A woman from out of state has been charged with second-degree murder in Cumberland County.

The New York State Police and the City of Middletown Police Department took 59-year-old Diana Lynn Grosso of Otisville, New York into custody on a fugitive from justice warrant from the State of Tennessee.  An extradition warrant was issued by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department. Grosso was remanded to the Orange County, New York Correctional Facility to await extradition back to Tennessee.

Late last night, officers transported Grosso to the jail in Crossville. She was booked and initially placed under $200,000 bond.

Details regarding the charge will be released later today by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
