On March 31, 2025, police responded to a burglary alarm at a residence on Sparta Dr. Upon arrival, an officer observed that glass panels had been removed from the sunroom at the rear of the house. The residence was cleared and re-secured with assistance from other officers, and no one was found inside.

The homeowner stated that the house should have been unoccupied, as his mother had passed away in November 2024, and a family member had last been inside on March 29, 2025, with no signs of damage or entry at that time. The homeowner’s sister was scheduled to check the residence on April 1, 2025, to assess if anything was missing. No suspects or charges were identified at that point.

On April 1, 2025, the homeowner’s sister reported that there was new damage inside the house, along with missing items, including jewelry, pills, and possibly some firearms.

A detective was notified of the updates, and the investigation remains ongoing with no suspects or charges specified at this time.
