On May 12, 2025, a burglary occurred on Whitehall Road in Crossville between 2:00 AM and 11:00 AM. The 66-year-old victim reported that his shed was unlawfully entered through forced entry (cut lock and a key stolen from his key ring).

Stolen items included a DeWalt air compressor, a Devilbliss air compressor (total value $400), 20 sheets of 4×8 OSB ($900), and 100 8′ 2x4s ($800).

A possible suspect had stayed at the victim’s residence the previous night and left before he woke up. The victim noted the suspect was desperate for money to bail out his girlfriend.

So far, no charges have been placed, and no arrests have been made.
