Earlier this month, the Cumberland County Election Commission released its official list of candidates, highlighting a competitive upcoming race for the Crossville City Council.

Several hopefuls have qualified for the standard councilmember seats, including incumbent Mike Turner. He is joined in the race by fellow council candidates Kristopher Cole, Robbie Poore, Greg Wood, and Danny R. Wyatt.

Additionally, voters will decide a race for an unexpired council term, which was left vacant following the passing of late council member James Mayberry. Competing for this unexpired term are Kristopher Cole, Melinda Kelsey, and Louis Morrison.

The election will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd, with early voting running Wednesday, October 14th through Thursday, October 29th.
