CAR DESTROYED BY FIRE OFF OF HIGHWAY 111

The Dunlap Fire Department responded yesterday afternoon to Highway 111 in a overlook parking area. The driver stated he smelled gas and pulled over. After stopping the engine compartment became ablaze. The vehicle was totally destroyed. Dunlap Fire responded with Engine 5 and Tanker 1 with 6 volunteer firefighters. There were no injuries.
