CCHS JETS FOOTBALL TEAM COMES TO AID OF HEAD COACH WHO LIVES IN PUTNAM COUNTY TORNADO PATH
The deadly tornado that hit Putnam County Monday morning caused significant damage to the home of the new head football coach for Cumberland County High School.
Coach Noah Repasky currently lives in Baxter. His home was in the middle of the destruction path of the EF-4 tornado. Coach Repasky and his family were miraculously not injured.
He was hired just two months ago to be the head coach of the Cumberland County Jets football program.
But many of the Jets football players wanted to show him the familiar term here in Cumberland County of “Jet Pride” and organized a relief for their coach.
Shortly after school dismissed yesterday (March 4, 2020), three vehicles showed up at the home of the coach packed with students, parents, and supplies. The football players clear several trees and a lot of debris from their coach’s yard and also the neighbor’s yard.
In the midst of the aftermath of one of the most destructive tornadoes in Tennessee, the Cumberland County Jets football team found teamwork had a whole new meaning.
JET PRIDE!
