CCHS TEACHER INVESTIGATED FOR FORCING PERSONAL DISCLOSURES

According to a report by the Crossville Chronicle, a teacher at Cumberland County High School in Tennessee is under internal investigation after parents alleged the educator required students to complete a “Two Worlds” questionnaire asking for personal details including age, gender, nationality, ethnicity, religion, financial status, and sexual orientation.

Multiple parents, including Brittany Barrett Seymour and Kay Stafford, reported student discomfort, leading to several class transfers. The complaints cite Tennessee law and district policy prohibiting mandatory disclosure of certain personal information and promotion of prohibited concepts in instruction.

Director of Schools Dr. Rebecca Farley promptly launched an investigation upon being notified, with appropriate actions underway, though results will not be released publicly as it is a personnel matter. No details were provided on whether the teacher is on leave. The school has not identified the teacher, and the story remains developing.
